A project is comprised of defined
activities with resources allocated to meet objectives.
A project manager is assigned to coordinate the activities
of users (clients) and vendors or technical staff to complete
the activities and implement the project.
Projects can be as diverse as planning a conference,
constructing a building, or implementing an IT software
application.
As a project manager, I always wanted a tool that followed a
complete methodology and had all the pieces I needed from
developing a business case to post-implementation
evaluation.
Another plus as a project manager is the software has to be
intuitive and easy to use. Management reporting is very
important as well as the capability of tracking resources.
